Metaethics want to find out the meaning of MORALITY (that is, good and bad)
Here are some key words you should learn:
EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE: Evidence that can be found using our sens, for example the chair is red.
COGNITIVE: The language that is used when talking about facts
NON-COGNITIVE: The language that is used when we are talking about thoughts, feelings and emotions. This is abstract.
ANALYTIC STATEMENTS: True by definition. Self explanatory
SYNTHETIC STATEMENTS: Based on sensory experience.
